Upholstery Cleaning

Just as with our carpet cleaning, we don’t have multiple levels of Upholstery Cleaning. There is only one way, and it is the most complete deep cleaning possible using the finest, safest, and most aggressive Anti-Allergen products in the industry. There is no such thing as a light cleaning. Your least soiled upholstery will receive the same process as your most soiled upholstery.

Our 6 Step Process

Analyze and Protect

  1. Our technician will analyze the upholstery fiber, soil level, and make note of any spots or stains that may not come out in our normal cleaning process. These spots (if any) will be dealt with individually after cleaning. He will then take action to protect your home with corner guards to prevent hoses from rubbing on those sensitive areas. Runners will put over your wood or tile floors to protect them while we work around those areas. We will install a temporary vinyl door which will allow the hose to come in making sure that your heat stays in during the winter and cool air during the summer. It also prevents unwanted insects from entering. We go through great lengths to protect your home.

Vacuum

2. Vacuuming is important to remove residue, dead skin, dust and debris from the upholstery fabric. However, it is not the answer to removing oils and soils deep in the fiber. This will be accomplished in the later steps.

Pre-Condition

3. We will spray the fabric with a safe Anti-Allergen solution that will break down the oils and residue from spills and spot cleaners.

Agitation

4. Next we use soft brush to gently agitate the surface spreading the solution evenly over each fabric strand. With the host (any type of sticky residue) breaking down, the soil on each fabric strand will be released and suspend in the solution. This process also will up root and suspend pet hair, dust mites and their eggs, residue from previous cleaning, and anything else that calls your upholstery home.

Rinse and Extraction

5. Hot water extraction with an Anti-Allergen Rinse is next. This is where we remove everything from your upholstery that doesn’t belong there. The extraction wand has a powerful jet which blasts 240 degree water into the upholstery fiber flushing out microorganisms, contaminants, and allergens. Everything is simultaneously extracted with a powerful vacuum and sent out to the tank in our truck. We take everything with us but your smile!

Brushing and Rejuvenation

6. The last step is to brush out the upholstery fibers so they look like new. Your upholstery is left clean, soft, free of spots, residue, and residents. It will also smell great! You will need to refrain from using the furniture during the few hours it takes to dry.

Fabric Protection

We strongly suggest protection for all upholstery which can extend its life and prevent damage from harmful dirt and spills. It also defends against everyday wear and tear. Adding upholstery protector is a great way to preserve the results of every cleaning. We strongly suggest protection if you have kids and pets. When you spill something on most unprotected upholstery the fibers absorb the mess, creating stains and odors. Upholstery protection works by repelling dirt from the fibers and preventing them from absorbing the spills.
