Web MD states: The average adult sweats 26 gallons a year in bed. That makes your mattress a warm, moist home for fungus and bacteria. Recent lab tests from swabs taken from 7-year-old mattresses found more than 16 million colony-forming units of bacteria per square inch. That’s more than five times the amount in a mattress bought a year ago. Yeast, mold, and bacteria could all can be bunking in your mattress.
Our Process
The Apex Mattress Cleaning Process is designed to thoroughly clean your mattress and effectively eliminate allergen problems through our multi-step process.
1.Vacuum the mattress to remove loose dirt and dust.
2. Our Allergy Relief Treatment is a Hypoallergenic Solution that effectively neutralizes Allergens and is applied to the mattress using a fine mist. This solution also removes stains and spots from the mattress surface.
3. Next the solution is agitated into the mattress fibers with a soft brush. Like with cleaning carpet or upholstery the solution is agitated to spread evenly throughout the mattress fibers and dissolve the sticky host residue that is holding the soil in place. Once this has happened the soil and residue will suspend in the liquid.
4. Steam cleaning the mattress with a high pressure 240 degree water spray will rinse deep into the fiber killing dust mites, bacteria, and other allergens which will then be extracted with high power vacuum sending everything out to our truck and out of your home forever. Your mattress will be clean, healthy, and smelling wonderful.
